Beetroot

Varieties that I've used so far; Super King, Cylindra and Baby Beets

When to sow; Hot Autumn, Winter, Spring Warm Winter to Mid Autumn Cool Spring to early Autumn.  (Baby Beets are all year round)

Location; Sunny well drained position

Sow; 10mm (1/4 inch) In seed tray or Direct, if in seed trays transplant when 3-5cm tall.

Spacing; about 7cm between plants and 20cm between rows.

Germination; 10-14 days

Harvest; About 10-12 weeks.

Tips; Soak seeds for 3 hours before sowing and keep well watered until germination.

What luck have I had; Have had great luck with Beets and they taste just great.
