Brussels Sprout

Varieties that I've used so far; Evesham Special

When to sow; Warm Summer, Autumn Cool Spring, Summer, Autumn

Location; Sunny position

Sow; 12mm (1/2 inch) In seed tray or directly in small clumps, thinning as necessary, keep moist. Transplant when 5-7cm high.

Spacing; 50-60cm apart, firm in well.

Germination; 7-12 days

Harvest; About 16-20 weeks.

Tips; They will do better if you apply liquid fertiliser each week and keep well watered.

What luck have I had; Haven't really given them that much of a go but they do seem to be good growers.
