Celery

Varieties that I've used so far; Crisp N Crunchy

When to sow; Hot Summer, Autumn Warm Spring, Summer Cool Spring, Summer

Location; Sunny well drained position

Sow; 6mm (1/4 inch) In seed tray and keep moist.  Transplant when seedlings are about 8-10 weeks old.

Spacing; about 30cm to 40cm.

Germination; 14-21 days

Harvest; About 20-22 weeks.

Tips; Add lime to the soil before transplanting and keep the water up to them. Place old milk cartons around the seedlings when you transplant this will make the grow straight upwards, doesn't have to be a milk carton can be anything that cuts the light out from the sides.

What luck have I had; Can't say I've really given them much of a go as yet, plan to do a few this year.
