Cucumber

Varieties that I've used so far; Long Green

When to sow; Hot All year round Warm Early Spring, early Summer Cool Late Spring, early Summer

Location; Sunny well drained position

Sow; 12mm (1/2 inch) In seed tray and keep moist.  Transplant after 3-4 weeks or you can sow direct in the ground, press 4-5 seeds into mounds of moist soil later thinning to the two strongest plants.

Spacing; about 30cm to 40cm, rows about 80cm apart.

Germination; 6-10 days

Harvest; About 8-10 weeks.

Tips; Add Fertiliser regularly to encourage stronger growth.

What luck have I had; Great croppers and taste great as well,  I wouldn't be without them.
