Capsicums/Peppers

Varieties that I've used so far; Californian Wonder Bell, Hot Pepper, Sweet Bells (Mixed)

When to sow; Hot Winter, Spring, Summer Warm Spring, Summer Cool Spring

Location; Sunny yet sheltered situation

Sow; 5mm (1/4 inch) straight into ground or in seed tray and keep moist.  If using seed tray transplant when at 2-4 leaf stage.

Spacing; about 30cm to 50cm the fruit likes to be shaded from the sun so I plant at about 30cm.

Germination; 10-14 days

Harvest; Anywhere from 10 weeks onwards but can take up to 20 weeks depending on how good your soil is and how much you feed your plants.

Tips; The plant itself loves the sun but the Peppers don't and can suffer from sun spotting which kills them off a bit so planting closer together may help or even some light shade cloth.

What luck have I had; Can say that I've had some good luck with these so far but know I can do more next time like plant a little earlier to get a better crop.
