Squash

Varieties that I've used so far; Green Buttons F1

When to sow; Hot Spring, Summer Warm Spring, Summer Cool Spring, Summer

Location; Sunny well drained position

Sow; 20mm (3/4-1/2 inch) Direct where they are to grow in 'hills' or in large 40cm+ pots.  Sow 3-4 seeds per location thinning out to two strongest plants.

Spacing; about 60cm apart.

Germination; 6-10 days

Harvest; About 6-7 weeks. (on going)

Tips; Pick fruit young, about 5-10cm in diameter to encourage large yields.

What luck have I had; Great growers the only problem I had was picking them young enough.
