Swede

Varieties that I've used so far; Best of all

When to sow; Hot Late Summer, Autumn Warm Late Winter, Spring Cool Late Winter, Spring

Location; Sunny well drained position

Sow; 12mm (1/2 inch) Direct into ground.

Spacing; about 35cm to 45cm.

Germination; 7-10 days

Harvest; About 10-12 weeks.

Tips; Add some blood and bone.

What luck have I had; Very good and good strike rate.  They taste great and can be in anything from on there own to in soups and stews.
