Zucchini

Varieties that I've used so far; Midnight Tinge, Lebanese

When to sow; Hot All year round Warm Spring, Summer Cool Spring, Summer

Location; Sunny well drained position

Sow; 20mm (3/4 inch) Deep. 3-4 direct where they are to grow, thinning out to two strongest plants.

Spacing; about 50cm to 70cm.

Germination; 6-10 days

Harvest; About 5-7 weeks.

Tips; Plant in hills which will help with drainage and make sure you keep the water up to them.

What luck have I had; A must have in every veggie patch I think, they grow very quickly and give plenty of variety to the kitchen. Heavy croppers and keep giving for about 4 months, though I pull them out once they have started to slow down and plant again, you will find you will get a lot more this way.
